I have stayed here on my annual vacation in London for the past 9 years since its days as the Mint Hotel. It is in a quiet neighborhood between the Tate Britain Museum and Parliament but is quite accessible to the Tube (Westminster, St James\' Park, and Pimlico stations are all about 10-15 minute walk away), a Sainsbury grocery, and various restaurants (although the nearby restaurants tend to be closed on Sundays). It is not in a touristy area, which is good or not depending on one\'s desires. Rooms are decent-sized for Western Europe but small for American tastes. Decor is modern even Scandinavian chic. Bathrooms are small but functional. Wireless internet is fast enough to access the Epic electronic medical record system. Prices have doubled over the past nine years, however. Nonetheless, I continue to stay here because it suits my needs for a quiet vacation lodging in central London.
