I recently stayed at the Double Tree by Hilton Weerawila resort and had an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my stay, and the room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect for exploring the down south/Katharagama and Safari. One thing I particularly appreciated was how quiet the room was - I’m a light sleeper, so this can be a real issue for me when I travel, but I had no trouble sleeping here. Resort natural setting surrounded by mountains forest and a gorgeous lake. Hotel\'s landscaping is beautifully done, with plenty of greenery and flowers that fit in perfectly with surrounding environment. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting and most important part is the staff at this property are all great! few names to remember - Yomal from the front desk Ravi and Dammika in the restaurant provided an extraordinary service and food prepared by a rookie chef Sujith was amazing and I visited Turnstone restaurant couple of times there was a bartender Pulasthi and Krishanthika both were very friendly and Ranil/Yomal showed the most of the great views in the hotel and all of these beautiful people went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable.

This time it was a family visit - 05 adults . as expected the service was exceptional from the entry gate until check out . Night Jar - Bar and Red shank restaurant was top quality .. staff was extremely helpful and made our stay more enjoyable . more value for money you pay .

This was the best experience me and my family had over the years. Staff is very friendly, and courteous. They treated us like family. The food in dinner and breakfast buffet was great. So many options to choose from. The best food I had in a hotel buffet. Rooms and Pool area was very clean. Overall, the experience was far beyond expectations. I strongly recommend.

Situated at a great location. Amazing Hotel with exceptional service provided by the staff at front office, recreation, pool bar, all day dining and turnstone bar. If you are looking for a place, where you can spend time with nature, away from busy city life to unwind and relax, this is the place to be. cant wait to be back.
